It hasn't been that long since my last post, but Eliza has changed so much in the last couple of weeks! She is crawling everywhere! She makes a few laps around the house a day and she is getting interested in the stairs now too. She does not liked to be held much since it prevents her from going places! Eliza is working on pulling up on the furniture, but she hasn't quite mastered that yet.
Eliza has also become very adventurous with her eating (as have mom and dad!). Lately we have tried pasta, broccoli, pancakes, Jello, orange juice and eggs (just a little!). She loves EVERYTHING that she eats and she can't get enough table food. As soon as we sit down to eat, she is fussing to try something. Eliza is still loving yogurt, and she is much improved with the puffs. We don't have to go puff fishing too much anymore! Usually after she eats table food, she gives us a big grin and a little giggle and then reaches out for more.
We are still waiting on her two bottom teeth to pop through. We can see them in her gums, but they just won't come out! The waiting game continues....
She is starting to wave - mostly for bye-bye. We are working on saying bye-bye, and I think she is pretty close. Eliza has also started to play peek-a-boo. She will pull her blanket (or whatever she can get into) in front of her face and then slowly pull it down as we say peek-a-boo. It's so cute!
She is mainly saying "Da-Da", "Ma-Ma", "Na-Na" and "Ba-Ba". We can't quite figure out if she associates us with "Da-Da" and "Ma-Ma", but we like to think she does :)
Eliza still loves her books, especially the lift & flap books. She also loves to drop her books (and other toys) out of the high chair. She thinks it is hillarious!
Her sleeping habits are still about the same. She will sometimes take a morning nap but almost always an afternoon nap. She still sleeps from about 7:30 pm - 7:30 or 8 am. Glory!
Eliza is a joy to have in our lives, and we are so blessed to have such a happy and easy-going baby. She definitely brightens our day with her sweet smile and laugh!
