Last Saturday after our huge rainstorm, we took Eliza to the pool. The weather was just perfect, and the pool was completely empty (well, other than the 30 12-year olds having a birthday dance party USA under the pavilion). Since we didn't have to worry about someone knocking the car seat over, we put Eliza by the edge, and Andrew and I both got to swim.
After we swam for a while, we decided to give Eliza one more go at the water. We went to the shallow end and put her legs in. She loved it - or at least didn't cry! Another victory! Maybe next summer she will be ready to go all in. We sure hope so!
