On a beautiful Easter Sunday, we brought Eliza home to our house in Columbia. She was perfect - peaceful and sweet. Although there were some fears when we first arrived home, I thought we could handle this new human being in our lives. It couldn't be that hard, right?
HA!
The first night home was quite a disaster, leaving Andrew and me wondering what had we done. She cried all through the night, and we kept passing her back and forth trying to soothe her. Needless to say, we didn't get a bit of sleep. We soon learned that this parenting thing might not be that easy after all...
Fortunately, our precious girl did return to her sweet, somewhat sleeping state!
